Ingredients

  • 24 square pretzels
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips melted
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • Green food coloring
  • 24 candy eyes
  • cup chocolate jimmy sprinkles
  • Mini pretzel sticks about 24 small pieces
  • 1 cup chocolate chips melted

Method

  1. Build the base: Lay 12 pretzels on a parchment-lined sheet. Spread 1 teaspoon of peanut butter on each, then top with another pretzel to make sandwiches.
  2. Melt and color chocolate: Combine white chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add green food coloring until you reach a Frankenstein shade.
  3. Dip and coat: Submerge each pretzel sandwich in green chocolate. Shake gently to remove excess and place on parchment paper.
  4. Add Frankenstein’s hair: While still wet, sprinkle the top edge with chocolate jimmies.
  5. Bring him to life: Press candy eyes into place. Use a piping bag with melted chocolate to draw mouths, scars, or stitches.
  6. Attach bolts: Break mini pretzels and insert one on each side of the head for bolts.
  7. Set and enjoy: Let set completely at room temp or speed things up with a quick chill in the fridge.

Notes

  • Active time: about 20 minutes.
  • Passive time: 10 minutes.
  • If chocolate thickens while working, microwave again in short bursts to keep it smooth.
